Learning how to ride a snowboard can be scary for the first time . I have desided to give a review for first time riders for the 155cm burton trick snowboard and give some training guidance .
To start off by making sure you pick the right size snowboard and to do that start by taking off your shoe and measuring your foot to the with of the board .Make sure your foot doesn"t hang over on either side.
After finding the right with board so when you try to turn when riding your feet do not drag and cause you to fall . Now make sure the board is the right length for your riding style. I recomend start out with the shorter trick boards so speed will not over whelm you as a beginner .
The picture below is a picture of a burton trick snowboard made for tricks and slower riding and my opinion is a has more stability for turns and tricks

So now you know the difference between the 2 boards and there riding styles lets talk about training to ride .Start by locating your starting location I recommend starting on small hills that has safety barriers in case you fall or cant stop correctly .
Once you have located your riding zone strap on your snowboard in the sitting down position. Next you will want to have a partner hold your hands to help you get initial balance . have your partner pull you toward them while you press with your toes toward them this will allow you to develop your turning manuvering skills . top rated skining and snowboard training click here
Next you will want to learn how to stop . The best way To develop this skill is while holding your partners hands lean back own your heels like you would if you are turning the harder you lean the more turning and stopping you will accomplish and if you fall for the first time congradulations you are learning how to snowboard everyone falls there first time thats why you are learning on a small hill with barriers .
I would recomemd pre training and conditioning for first timers and season traing athelets like a preseason work out. To get your legs conditioned for the slops and manuvering the board. When I first started learning how to ride the snowboard my legs were soar for three days after my first ride . With a little conditioning and training you will have more indurance and strength you will be ready for your first ride with little to no soarness the next day.
